Position Summary
The Nurse Manager (RN) is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of a 30-bed rehabilitation and long-term care unit. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff. The Nurse Manager collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal resident outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily clinical operations and staff performance
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence
Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes
Mentor and support nursing staff in their professional development
Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies
Participate in an on-call rotation
Qualifications
Required:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to providing exceptional resident care
Availability for on-call rotation
Preferred:
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
2+ years of supervisory or management experience
