Summary
The Billing Clerk is presented with fulfilled sales orders (bills of lading) so that they can initiate the billing cycle. The process is very fast-paced and requires both fast and accurate data entry skills.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Retrieve sales information and work on system queue of customers to be billed for the day's billing cycle.
Facilitate billing by inputting accurate information from the bills of lading so that the accurate freight charges can be applied.
Post accurate information regarding: driver collect accounts, hold accounts, customer call-aheads, special-handling inspects, etc. to accounts.
Enter all mandatory information into the billing system in order to generate the invoice.
Review all information to ensure they match sales information before finalizing the invoice.
Work Schedule
This is primarily a Monday to Friday 2nd shift position 1:00 pm based on volume and concludes when all bills for the day are entered. Occasional mandatory overtime and/or weekend work may be required.
