Overview
We are seeking a full-time Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Therapist to provide mental health services in Southeastern Iowa.
Responsibilities
Provide individual therapeutic treatment, assessments, diagnosis, and service planning.
Supervise and support staff and interns, participate in staff meetings, training, and community education.
Assist clients facing mental health challenges, disabilities, and barriers, promoting empowerment and quality care.
Maintain licensure, stay current with therapies, and participate in crisis/emergency services as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications include an advanced degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field, licensure eligibility within two years, and preferred two years of experience.
