19‑bed Surgical Specialties unit , caring for patients undergoing
vascular and bariatric procedures
as well as
general med‑surg patients
based on surgical volume. This flexible unit offers a fast‑paced, diverse clinical environment.
Patient Population Includes
Bariatric surgery (Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Bypass – not all patients are bariatric)
Vascular surgery (CEA, AAA repair, revascularizations, thrombectomies, amputations)
General med‑surg patients
IV insulin management using Glucommander
Typical Staffing Ratios
Days: 1:4
Nights: 1:5

Qualifications
Current RN license in Georgia
