Department Description
The Pre-Anesthesia Clinic RN is part of the Surgical Services department at Harborview.
Position Highlights
The Pre-Anesthesia Specialty Clinic (PAC) serves as the anesthesia home for care coordination of patients undergoing elective surgery or procedures.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Provide health assessment and risk stratification for anesthesia optimization; educate patients on perioperative medication management, NPO guidelines, and pre-surgery expectations.
Requirements
Minimum two years of critical care RN experience (ED or ICU).
Compensation and Position Details
Pay Range: $45.59 – $84.47 hourly.
Other Compensation: $1/hour BSN premium, $1.25/hour nursing certification premium, $4/hour weekends.
Shift: First Shift (United States of America).
FTE: 87.50%.
Union/Bargaining Unit: SEIU 1199NW HMC RN.
