Marine Equipment Installer
Pay:
$20/hour + company vehicle
We are seeking a hands‑on installer to support the installation and servicing of mechanical lift systems used with recreational watercraft. This role involves working with both mechanical and electrical components to ensure proper setup, operation, and performance of installed equipment.
Core Responsibilities
Installation:
Install mechanical lift components, power units, and control systems onto watercraft with precision and attention to detail.
Mechanical & Electrical Work:
Connect and integrate system wiring, including safety components, into existing electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
System Setup & Testing:
Perform operational testing of lifting and lowering functions, confirm proper alignment, and verify remote or control operation.
Maintenance & Repair:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair existing lift or support systems as needed.
General Yard Support:
Assist with moving, staging, and transporting equipment or watercraft, as well as general support duties within the worksite.
Qualifications & Requirements
Ability to lift 50–75+ lbs regularly
Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
Mechanical aptitude; experience with hydraulic or similar systems preferred
Prior experience in equipment installation, repair, or similar hands‑on work is beneficial
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including near or on water
Work Environment
Primarily outdoor work at customer locations or service facilities
Seasonal demand, with peak workload during spring and fall
Work may involve travel to various job sites
