This mechanic role involves working on a variety of machinery, including trucks, trailers, bulldozers, excavators, and more!
Responsibilities
Diagnose issues for cost-effective repairs
Disassemble equipment to replace faulty components
Maintain heavy machinery and shop equipment
Conduct vehicle servicing tasks (oil changes, greasing, etc.)
Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems
Order parts and manage purchase orders
Weld broken parts as needed
Keep your workspace clean and organized
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Around 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic preferred
Experience with heavy construction machinery like Komatsu and CAT is a plus
