
Low Voltage Technician in Miami

Responsibilities
Perform field service and maintenance on low voltage systems, including CCTV security, and AV & Network Systems.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage wiring and equipment.
Use hand tools and power tools to build and install low voltage systems.
Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to ensure accurate installation and configuration of systems.
Conduct system testing to detect any issues or malfunctions.
Provide technical support to customers and address any questions or concerns they may have.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Low Voltage Technician.
Installs & maintain voice, data, Fiber, WiFi.
Cable termination, trace & certify.
Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Familiar with network equipment (switches, routers, modems, access points, etc).
Installs data equipment including data racks, patch panels, cable trays, networks equipment, access points, etc.
Follow industry BCISI cabling standards, cabling methods & NEC code compliance.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams.
Basic networking knowledge, IP addressing, ability to console and communicate with network devices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Understanding basic WiFi fundamentals is a plus.
Ability to work long hours, overnights and travel long distance.
Maintain professional attitude & respect company policies.
Punctuality – must show up on time.
Responsible for company truck – company tools.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
