ARC Fabricators Saw Operator
ARC Fabricators has an immediate need to hire a Saw Operator. The Operator works on metal fabricating machines such as saw, forming machines, rolls, brakes, presses, and punch, which cut, shape, and bend rolled metal. Responsibilities include the duties listed below.

Hours
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Adjust machine to material and finished product requirements
Feed metal into fabrication machine
Observe machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction
Assure product quality by adjusting machine to remove burrs and sharp edges from material
Report machine and product quality issues to supervisors
Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines and dies
Complete production records on finished goods
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Metal fabrication experience, preferably in saw, shear/brake and roll-forming or equivalent combination of education and experience
Mechanical experience with hand tools (saws, hacksaws, tin snips) preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Physical Demands
Standing regularly
Walking; using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Work Environment
Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat (proper PPE & safety training will be provided)
Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
