Clinical Research Financial Analyst / Clinical Research Administrator
Key Responsibilities
Conduct closeout audits to ensure all financial activities are reconciled prior to study closure
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and follow‑up on outstanding balances
Verify billing compliance and resolve charge allocation discrepancies
Review and support negotiation of study budgets, contracts, and payment schedules
Collaborate with billing compliance, finance, and research teams to ensure adherence to financial guidelines
Utilize financial and clinical systems (e.g., Mecha, Epic) to support audits and billing reviews
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and account reconciliation
Auditing experience, preferably in healthcare or clinical research
Strong financial acumen, including understanding of contractual payment terms and budget schedules
Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, and standard office applications
Must have experience in healthcare or clinical research preferred
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Life Sciences, or related field
Epic experience a plus (training available)

This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
