Job Description
PCI is seeking a Safety Technician for its Denver 583 operations located around multiple sites based in Colorado including Aurora, Denver, and Windsor. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

Promote safe work practices and behaviors to instill an injury‑free culture among all site and field personnel

Assist with the administration of PCI's Accident Prevention Plan, policies, and procedures, on jobsites and at the branch through utilization of safety resources such as training and mitigation of unsafe practices.

Ensure company and client safety reports and documentation are submitted on time and in accordance with client requirements and expectations

Collaborate with site safety manager and field to develop and implement safety policies and procedures as necessary; monitor for effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement when necessary.

Responsible for investigation and evaluation of injuries and illnesses for the project site

Convey a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of PCI

Create and maintain positive relationships with all trades, vendors, co‑workers and customers to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.

This position is safety‑sensitive.

Hourly Wage
Hourly Wage: $36‑40/hour depending on experience.

Basic Requirements

Must have at least 2‑3 years' experience in construction safety

Must have OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certification

Must be at least 18 years old

Displays strong verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively convey information to employees, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders

Previous Fall Protection & Confined Space Training.

Motivated self‑starter willing to take initiative.

Must have provided safety oversight for a minimum of 15 craft in the field.

Capable of spending 80% of daily time in the field with craft.

Demonstrated strong work ethic with labor experience in the field.

Able to work 50‑60 hour work weeks.

Able to withstand prolonged periods standing and working outside.

Physically able to perform assigned tasks.

Must be able to lift 40 pounds independently.

Preferred Requirements

Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred

Degree in Occupational or Environmental Health and Safety is a plus

Previous experience conducting safety training is a plus

Local to Denver, Co metro Area
