Position Summary
The Production Operator II contributes to the team‑oriented production process by operating automated equipment, diagnosing machinery failures, supporting preventive maintenance, and ensuring sanitation and safety for all team members.

Physical Requirements
Stooping/Bending and Lifting
Routinely stoop and bend while lifting 20–50 pounds.
Occasionally stoop and bend while lifting dough modules up to 120 pounds.
Routine stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds of ingredients to a 36‑inch high table and then from table to a 54‑inch high mixer.
Climbing/Crawling
Climb fixed and portable ladders between 10 and 20 feet while carrying up to 20 pounds of scrap dough, and reach 2 feet to drop scrap dough into the hopper.
Climb onto and crawl under machinery.
Push/Pull
Push or pull wheeled carts weighing 400–500 lbs over 150–300 feet.
Move a wheeled container weighing up to 2400 lbs over 50 feet with assistance.
Responsibilities
Adhere to the production schedule and reporting times.
Comply with all company policies, including EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
Operate metal detector(s) when assigned and remain certified.
Ensure all machinery is set up, operated, and monitored according to safety procedures.
Complete required documentation and system entries accurately and on time.
General Duties (Machine Assignments)
Set up equipment following procedures and safety guidelines.
Ensure continuous, efficient flow of materials.
Verify product quality meets required standards throughout operation.
Adjust equipment to maintain proper performance, measurements, and speeds.
Remove defective product and ensure compliance.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow sanitation requirements.
Complete documentation and system entries promptly.
Qualifications
Minimum two years of related experience.
High school diploma or equivalent plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair).
Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or at least 45 college credit hours may substitute for technical training.
Completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course is optional.
Salary
