Now Hiring - Stock Handler in Fort Collins
Pay:
$20/hour
Shift:
6 AM-2:30 PM
The Material Handler supports daily manufacturing operations by receiving, inspecting, storing, and delivering materials to designated workstations. This role is responsible for inventory transactions, material traceability, and accurate documentation while maintaining strict safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and move materials to appropriate workstations or storage locations
Stock materials on racks, trays, and shelves in designated locations
Pick and deliver materials for assembly, sub‑assembly, and spare‑parts orders
Perform inventory transactions including issuing, returning, counting, weighing, adjusting, and packaging materials
Ensure material traceability through proper labeling and tag attachment
Complete administrative tasks such as paperwork verification and data entry
Operate RF scanners and other inventory systems accurately
Follow all safety procedures related to material handling, lifting, and equipment operation
Required Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of basic hand tools (wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, scrapers, box cutters)
Ability to safely operate shipping and packing equipment (foam‑in‑place, bubble wrap machines)
Understanding of inventory control and continuous improvement processes
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies or defects in materials
Basic computer skills with proficiency in web‑based systems and willingness to learn new applications
Ability to use standard office equipment effectively
Commitment to quality, safety, and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of part‑specific handling guidelines and material specifications
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical individuals
Basic negotiation, cooperation, and problem‑solving skills
General knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes
Work Environment
1st shift manufacturing environment
Regular use of RF scanners and material handling systems
Tasks include stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving
Adherence to strict safety protocols to maintain a secure and productive workplace
