Installation Technician

Pay Rate:
$18 per hour
Schedule:
1st shift | 7:00am-3:30pm
As an
Installation Technician , you will install HVAC systems in new and used school and commercial shuttle buses. This includes mounting and connecting components like compressors, condensers, evaporators, pulleys, hoses, and electrical systems. You will work in a hands‑on, shop environment, both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Work in a hands‑on shop environment
Install HVAC systems in new and used school and commercial shuttle buses
Mount and connect components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, pulleys, hoses, and electrical systems
Work independently or as part of a team
Keep work area clean and free of clutter to ensure a safe working environment
Follow company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements
Requirements
2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience. Previous experience as a technician or mechanic is a plus.
Working knowledge of A/C systems and components is a plus.
You must provide your own basic hand tools.
Ability to read and understand schematics and manuals.
Intermediate computer skills and excellent communication skills.
Technical School, 609 Certification, CDL plus.

Employment Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
Schedule: 1st shift | 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
