Payroll Administrator
Hybrid - Pasadena, CA
Schedule:
Full-Time, Hybrid (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)
Pay: $28 to $33 per hour
Position Overview
The Payroll Administrator supports payroll operations for a large and dynamic employee population. This role is responsible for accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance-related documentation, and generating reports for audits. The position offers hands-on experience with advanced payroll systems, tax tools, and reporting functionsideal for someone looking to grow their payroll career.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll accurately and on schedule
Manage employee registrations, updates, and payroll record maintenance
Generate, analyze, and validate payroll reports for audits and compliance
Assist with payroll tax compliance tasks, including using Smart Compliance
Support the Payroll Manager with special projects, process improvements, and additional responsibilities based on performance
Required Technical Skills
Experience with ADP Workforce (ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred)
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
Basic knowledge of payroll tax compliance and supporting tools
Familiarity with Smart Compliance is a plus
Qualifications
Previous experience in payroll administration or payroll support
Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential information
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem?solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Schedule & Work Environment
Hybrid schedule:
Two days onsite (assigned based on team needs)
Three days remote
Collaboration with a supportive payroll team and exposure to enterprise-level payroll systems
