The Positions
DePuy Synthes is looking for 6 Co-Ops for the Fall 2026 cycle. The Co-Ops will be split among 4 different departments, each contributing to the site’s value streams.
2 Co-Ops will be assigned to the Operations Department as part of the engineering support network that helps keep products flowing through the facility, and to the Manufacturing Process team to improve and optimize existing manufacturing processes.
2 Co-Ops will support the End-to-End Project team with Engineering and Capital Equipment Projects such as equipment validations and New Product Introductions (NPI).
1 Co-Op will be assigned to the BEX Team to support the key continuous improvement programs for the site.
1 Co-Op will support our Manufacturing Systems team, as part of our Manufacturing Engineering organization.
These are all in‑office positions and are not eligible for remote or hybrid work. A candidate’s preference for a particular group will be noted but will not guarantee placement.
Co‑op Responsibilities
Assist in process, project, and/or quality activities across the manufacturing network.
Become involved in the day‑to‑day functions of a medical device manufacturing facility.
Develop a range of business documents including but not limited to validation protocols, engineering studies, and work instructions.
Support senior engineers on various Business Continuity and/or Cost Improvement projects.
Create and analyze data related to manufacturing processes to recommend improvements or changes.
Required Qualifications
Enrolled in a 4‑year engineering curriculum.
Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
Understanding of common engineering analysis tools (such as statistical process control) and reporting mechanisms.
Strong verbal and communication skills.
Ability to commute 5 days a week to the facility located in Raynham, MA.
Recommended Qualifications
Previous experience in GMP manufacturing, medical devices, or FDA‑related activities.
Proven experience with Project Management is a plus.
A minimum of 1 prior Co‑Op experience.

Pay Range
$23.00/hr to $51.50/hr (based on candidate’s program year, discipline, degree and/or experience).
Co‑Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in company-sponsored employee medical benefits and in the company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
