Manager, Data & Insights Analytics – Whippany, NJ
Key Responsibilities
Develop analytics solutions and reporting to translate data into actionable insights and metrics.
Monitor data sets to surface insights, issues, and trends.
Build and maintain KPI dashboards.
Lead initiatives to evolve and expand data‑insights capabilities and innovate data‑driven analytics tools.
Collaborate with cross‑functional internal and external business stakeholders to understand needs.
Coordinate vendors.
Define and deliver commercial business metrics within a data architecture to support business reporting and analysis, including sales and market performance data.
Design, develop, and deliver data‑driven solutions in project teams.
Work with data in Google BigQuery, AWS, SAP Hana Studio, and/or Oracle, including commercial data, data warehousing, and analytics.
Manage data warehouses (Google BigQuery, AWS, SAP Hana Studio, Oracle).
Use data visualization tools such as R and Spotfire to drive business decisions.
Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling for business process optimization.
Adhere to version control, code documentation and review, and database management best practices.
Present and deliver complex quantitative analyses to technical and non‑technical stakeholders at all levels.
Work with cross‑functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or closely related quantitative field.
Minimum 3 years of experience building machine learning and natural language processing‑driven solutions and data models using Python and/or R.
Experience analyzing data to understand business process drivers and identify areas for performance improvement.
Experience defining and delivering commercial business metrics in a data architecture.
Experience working with data in Google BigQuery, AWS, SAP Hana Studio, and/or Oracle.
Experience using data visualization tools (R, Spotfire) and performing statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex quantitative analyses to diverse audiences.
Benefits
Salary range: $146,000 – $175,000.
Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant).
Health care, vision, dental, retirement, paid time off, sick leave, and other benefits.
Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week from a home office within reasonable commuting distance of Whippany, NJ.
