
Lead Carpenter/Assistant Project Manager

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable full‑time Carpenter / Punch Out Super to handle punch‑out work on high‑end custom new homes. This role is perfect for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in their work, values independence, and thrives on getting the details right. It could also transition into running remodel jobs in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Complete final punch‑out tasks on new construction homes (doors, trim, cabinetry, bath hardware, etc.)
Perform minor repairs and adjustments based on Project‑manager generated punch lists and find issues that need to be addressed on your own
Communicate effectively with builder, project manager, and subcontractors
Read and interpret construction plans and punch lists
Maintain all jobsites keeping them clean, swept, and orderly throughout different phases of the project
Ability to complete punch list items with varying degrees of skill level with little to no supervision
Requirements
Minimum 5 years carpentry experience, preferably in custom homes or remodeling
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to work independently, manage time, and take ownership of quality
Reliable truck with a bed to transport tools and materials
Full set of carpentry tools required to complete a wide range of finish tasks
Tech‑capable – must have a cell phone, access to email, and ability to view/print documents
Must have a keen eye for spotting issues, and the ability to make a plan to address them
Preferred Qualifications
Remodeling or finish carpentry experience – a strong bonus
Professional communication and customer service skills (ability to speak Spanish is a bonus)
Flexibility to take on small projects or repairs as needed with little or no supervision
