Business Operations Lead

We are actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Business Operations Lead for an AI-driven enterprise healthcare startup. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this opportunity.
We are seeking a high-agency operator who has been trained in a rigorous performance environment and is ready to apply those skills inside an early-stage growth company. This individual will work closely with Finance & Operations leadership on strategic initiatives spanning finance, operations, pricing, enterprise deals, and cross-functional execution.
Key Responsibilities
Own and execute high-impact projects across Finance, Operations, and Go-To-Market functions
Support enterprise sales opportunities through pricing models, proposals, commercial analysis, and contract coordination
Build and improve internal business systems including procurement, people operations, and operating workflows
Develop financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and cohort analyses to guide strategic decisions
Partner daily with Sales, Product, Engineering, and executive leadership on priority initiatives
Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable processes from zero-to-one
Prepare executive-ready analyses, recommendations, and reporting materials
Use modern AI tools and workflow automation to improve speed, accuracy, and execution quality
Drive accountability across cross-functional stakeholders to ensure project completion
Required Qualifications (Highly Important)
1–3 years of experience
in one of the following environments:
Bulge bracket or elite boutique investment banking
MBB consulting or equivalent top-tier strategy consulting
Private equity analyst / associate roles
Strategy / Operations roles at a
Series B+ high-growth startup with $100M+ funding
Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills required
Strong analytical thinking with ability to solve business problems from first principles
Proven track record of owning projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, high-pressure environments
Strong judgment, communication skills, and confidence to challenge ideas constructively
Eagerness to use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, n8n, Hex, or similar workflow tools
Genuine interest in healthcare, home care, eldercare, or healthcare operations
Stable employment history with clear progression; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued)
M&A transaction experience for former investment banking candidates
Experience from top-tier firms breaking in from non-traditional academic backgrounds with strong outcomes
Prior zero-to-one ownership building systems or operational workflows
Experience supporting enterprise commercial deals or strategic partnerships
Exposure to cohort analysis, pricing strategy, or GTM analytics
Startup operator experience in scaled growth companies rather than very early Series A environments
Strong communication presence with founders and senior executives
Disqualifiers
Experience only from Series A startups without scaled growth exposure
Weak Excel / financial modeling capabilities
Pure technical backgrounds lacking business operations or analytical ownership

Compensation
Base Salary:
$120,000 – $160,000
Bonus Potential:
Up to $50,000
On-Target Earnings:
Up to $210,000
Additional Compensation:
Equity + benefits package
