
Pricing Manager

Job Purpose
This position reports to Senior Pricing Manger and is the focal point for all pricing activity within the Global Aftermarket Group. The Pricing Manager position will work closely with Product Planning and Sales to develop and the Aftermarket pricing strategy and policies that will help differentiate Dana Brands such as Spicer, Spicer Select and Victor Reinz service parts leading to sales and EBIT growth in our Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle markets.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Product Planning to provide direction, manage pricing strategy, model processes and improve efficiency & consistency among the existing product groups
Achieve on‑time delivery of price files, customer impact studies, GM analysis, std. cost changes as part of annual price changes
Develop and provide usable, market modeling output to support the achievement of sales & profit expectations as defined by AOP
Establish & maintain service prices per the strategic direction developed within Product Management group
Develop and maintain ongoing market research data and competitive analysis and competitive price position
Evaluate and manage special quoting activity for process improvements and recommend strategy changes based on quote trends
Maintain database of parts quoted as requested by customer requests, daily orders and government bids. Responsible for all customer price files within the pricing system and ERP IT systems. This includes data, such as level price files, special offer and promotional files, customer specific interchanges, lead times, and COO when price changes occur
Develop and Maintain Audit / Compliance reports
Develop and Expand Global Pricing Governance activities & reporting
Drive tariff management and related commercial compliance programs and pricing
Manage Day-to-Day Pricing Maintenance via SalesForce queue
Education and Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Analytics, or Finance
10+ years of high volume and complex automotive product and commodities pricing expertise
Skills and Competencies
Management Experience Preferred
Experience incorporating price into a strategic marketing portfolio
Proven track record of high performance in managing complex analytical/strategic pricing projects
Effective listener and communicator
Proficient in business analytics tools – PowerBI and related tools
Advanced EXCEL & Data management Skills
Excellent organizational and follow up skills
Demonstrated ability to be proactive and think forward
Ability to initiate and complete projects on your own
Must have strong project management skills
Able to effectively interface with other disciplines in the organization to achieve result
Proven excellent customer relationship management skills
Knowledge of Syncron Price or other pricing software
Knowledge of Salesforce
