Job Description
Lockheed Martin’s Supplier Quality organization relies on data‑driven insight to ensure every component we receive meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. As a Supplier Quality Data Analyst, you will collect, cleanse, and analyze supplier quality data (nonconformances, supplier corrective action requests (SCARs), source inspection, supplier approvals, and other supplier‑related metrics) and translate those numbers into actionable stories that reduce risk, improve supplier performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the enterprise.

What You Will Be Doing
Data Acquisition & Governance

Identify, ingest, and validate internal & external supplier quality data sources (Apriso, S/4).

Maintain data quality pipelines; resolve data integrity issues within the systems.

Document data lineage, data dictionary definitions, and change control procedures for all quality‑related datasets.

Analysis & Insight Generation

Perform statistical analysis (control charts, hypothesis testing, regression) to detect trends, root causes, and early warning signals in supplier quality performance.

Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) that surface key quality KPIs such as DPMO, First Pass Yield, Supplier On‑Time Delivery, and Quality Scorecard.

Corrective Action Effectiveness

Translate complex analytical findings into concise narratives, executive briefings, and visual story boards for non‑technical stakeholders (program managers, sourcing, engineering).

Metrics & Reporting

Define, track, and report on the Supplier Quality KPI portfolio.

Provide ad‑hoc data extracts and analysis for supplier audits, risk assessments, and continuous improvement projects.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

Partner with Supplier Quality Engineers, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT to prioritize analytical requests and align data solutions with business goals.

Lead small‑scale data project initiatives (e.g., automating NCR trend reporting) and coordinate resources to meet cost and schedule targets.

Coach cross‑functional teams on data interpretation best practices and promote a data‑driven culture within the Supplier Quality organization.

The candidate will also provide secondary support for Central Supplier Quality (CSQ) Core Operations such as ZQUALs, PO Overrides, QR text key changes, and system troubleshooting.

Benefits
The role offers high‑impact visibility across the enterprise and the chance to partner with cross‑functional teams on strategic initiatives.

We are committed to supporting your work‑life balance and overall well‑being, offering flexible scheduling options.

Location
Orlando, FL or Dallas, TX. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Remote Work
Part‑time remote telework: the employee will work part of their work schedule remotely and part at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
