Georgetown ISD - Coordinator-Risk Management
Oversee the district’s risk management operations, ensuring proactive measures are taken to mitigate financial loss and workplace injuries. This role serves as the central liaison between Risk Management, Human Resources, and Payroll, managing workers’ compensation claims and ensuring the seamless coordination of overlapping leave programs (FMLA, ADA, and Assault Leave).
Qualifications
Education/Certification/Experience: High School diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred. At least 2 years of experience in risk management, payroll, human resources, or closely related field. Bilingual preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of risk-management program development
Knowledge of Texas worker’s compensation and insurance statutes and codes
Knowledge of administration and leave programs and applicable laws
Ability to implement policy and procedures
Ability to interpret dataDemonstrate sound judgment in disseminating information and maintaining confidentiality
Ability to backwards plan and improve work process flows
Ability to utilize available technology, including HRIS system, Microsoft and Google Suites
Strong, professional, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
