Alarm Monitor
Chenega Sentinel 360 is seeking an Alarm Monitor to support 24/7 security operations at a government facility in Albuquerque, NM. This role monitors intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems and coordinates alarm response to help protect personnel, facilities, and classified assets. This position is contingent upon contract award Responsibilities
Monitor intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems in a 24/7 alarm station
Assess alarms promptly and determine probable cause using established procedures and video systems
Dispatch Security Officers and maintain radio communication during alarm response
Initiate emergency response actions in accordance with approved security plans and post orders
Document all alarm activity, incidents, and system issues accurately and completely
Report equipment malfunctions and verify authorized personnel conducting system maintenance
Maintain continuous alarm station coverage and comply with all security and confidentiality requirements
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative, security, visitor control, or credentialing/badging functions
Experience working with access control systems, visitor management systems, or identification/badging systems
Ability to work in a secure environment and properly handle sensitive and controlled information
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures
