Security Service Technician

Position Summary
We are looking for a technically proficient and customer-focused Commercial Security Integration Specialist to join our team. This role involves deploying and maintaining advanced electronic security systems across commercial environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in system configuration, network troubleshooting, and client support, with a focus on access control, surveillance technologies, and alarm systems.

Primary Duties

Set up and maintain enterprise-grade access control systems, video monitoring platforms, and intrusion detection devices.

Configure and program control panels and alarm interfaces.

Assemble and deploy servers tailored for surveillance and access management applications.

Diagnose and resolve issues within segmented and wide‑area network infrastructures.

Partner with IT teams to design secure and efficient network layouts for integrated security systems.

Train clients and end users on system functionality and usage.

Monitor project milestones and ensure deliverables meet quality standards.

Provide exceptional service and support throughout the project lifecycle.

Bonus: Experience with SIP‑based communication systems is advantageous.

Qualifications & Expertise

At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in commercial electronic security system implementation.

Skilled in programming and configuring access control hardware and software.

Capable of building and customizing servers for security applications.

Familiar with alarm system setup and programming protocols.

Knowledge of SQL and database structures is a plus.

Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

Certifications in one or more of the following platforms are highly desirable:

Access Control Systems: Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Prowatch

Video Management Systems (VMS): Milestone, IPConfigure, Genetec, Bosch

Educational Background

High School Diploma or GED (required)

Technical education in electronics or communications through vocational training or military service (preferred)
