INVENTORY INTEGRITY LEADER
The Inventory Integrity Leader is accountable for end?to?end inventory accuracy, controls, and integrity across manufacturing, warehouse, and offsite storage locations within a KDC co?manufacturing operation supporting Customer. This role ensures Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) compliance, protects financial and operational results, and maintains alignment between both SAP systems.
This position will report to the Material Manager. This role also leads oversight of reblend inventory, slow?moving and obsolete materials (SLOB), and SAP exception management (COGI).
Responsibilities:
Inventory Accuracy & Governance
Own and maintain Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) performance across all inventory categories including: Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), Semi?Finished Goods (SFG), Finished Goods (FG)
Monitor inventory movements and on-hand balances to ensure compliance with KDC inventory control standards.
Lead investigation and root cause analysis of inventory variances, adjustments, and losses
Inventory Reporting & Analytics
Generate and analyze inventory metrics in alignment with KPI expectations.
Provide inventory visibility and performance reporting to Material Manager,Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance stakeholders.
Track trends related to inventory adjustments, cycle count errors, and process breakdowns.
Support month?end close activities related to inventory reconciliation and financial accuracy.
SAP Transaction Integrity & System Alignment
Act as site expert for SAP inventory transactions and exception management.
Monitor, investigate, and resolve SAP COGI errors to ensure timely and accurate goods movements, backflushes, and production postings.
Partner with Production, Warehouse, and Planning teams to reinforce correct transactional discipline.
Reblend Inventory Oversight
Own governance and tracking of reblend material inventory and associated documentation.
Validate reblend quantities, material consumption, yield, and final disposition.
Ensure reblend movements are accurately reflected in SAP and comply with P&G inventory and quality requirements.
Partner with Quality and Operations on reblend approval, execution, and close-out.
SLOB & Obsolete Inventory Management
Identify, monitor, and report slow?moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB).
Partner with Finance, Planning, and Operations to determine disposition strategies (rework, reblend, scrap, or usage).
Audit, Compliance & Controls
Support SC Director site owner for monthly Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA) audits.
Ensure inventory practices align with KDC internal controls and policies.
Maintain documentation to support internal, customer, and external audits.
Partner with Finance Controls and Quality teams to close audit findings and sustain compliance.
Cross?Functional Leadership & Continuous Improvement
Partner cross?functionally with Warehouse, Production, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Engineering teams.
Coach teams on inventory discipline, SAP transactional accuracy, and standard work.
Requirements:
Fluency in English, Spanish as a plus
Bachelors degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, Engineering or related field (preferred).
35 years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or supply chain in a manufacturing or co?manufacturing environment.
Hands?on SAP experience, including: MM (Materials Management), Cycle count processes, WM or EWM (Warehouse Management)
Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS / COUNTIFS, Inventory modeling and analytics, KPI dashboards
Strong analytical, root cause, and data?driven decision?making skills.
High attention to detail and strong process discipline.
Ability to influence without authority and operate cross?functionally.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced manufacturing environment.
Working Conditions
Regular presence on the production floor and in material storage locations.
Participation in cycle counts, physical inventories, and audit activities.
Occasional off?shift, weekend, or extended hours support during inventory events.
