Territory Sales Director
This is a senior field leadership role responsible for driving regional revenue growth and shaping commercial strategy across a defined territory within the industrial services sector. You will lead a high-performing sales organization while building and expanding strategic client relationships across key industries such as energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. The role combines hands-on market execution with high-level strategic planning, requiring strong commercial acumen and the ability to operate in complex, technical environments. You will work closely with cross-functional partners including operations, marketing, and service delivery to ensure alignment and customer success. As a key regional leader, you will be accountable for pipeline performance, forecasting accuracy, and long-term account growth. Accountabilities:
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets across a defined territory
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers and Account Executives to drive consistent high performance
Build and maintain strong relationships with key enterprise clients and stakeholders across industrial sectors
Manage regional forecasting, pipeline development, and performance reporting for senior leadership visibility
Identify and pursue high-value opportunities in target industries including oil & gas, power generation, manufacturing, and infrastructure
Partner with operations, marketing, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics to adjust sales strategy and maintain competitive advantage
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and pipeline development
Requirements:
810+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within industrial services or related B2B technical industries
Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and expanding market share in complex sales environments
Experience leading and scaling regional or multi-state sales teams
Strong understanding of industrial services such as inspection, NDT, maintenance, mechanical integrity, or related offerings
Deep expertise in consultative and strategic enterprise sales, including account segmentation and territory planning
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities
Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI)
Ability and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
