Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Sourcing
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet manufacturing requirements for cost, quality, and delivery.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
Manage purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Supplier Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
Conduct supplier audits and participate in vendor evaluations.
Inventory & Production Support
Collaborate with production, engineering, and planning teams to ensure material availability.
Manage inventory levels to minimize excess stock while avoiding shortages.
Support new product introductions by sourcing new materials and components.
Cost & Process Improvement
Drive cost reduction initiatives through competitive sourcing, value analysis, and process improvements.
Analyze market trends to identify risks and opportunities.
Provide input into long-term sourcing strategies.
Leadership & Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and finance teams.
Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and best practices
