This position will be based in the greater Frederick, MD area (Western MD region). Responsibilities include:
Leading the planning, execution, and delivery of services to design, erect, operate, and maintain all IT infrastructure supporting secure, government facilities.
Managing integrated schedule of tasks across IT infrastructure, compliance, and systems integration.
Developing, executing, and maintaining an Integrated Program Management Plan (IPMP) in accordance with contractual requirements and company policies.
Supporting the development of cost and schedule baselines; managing the project against baselines, reporting on and mitigating variances.
Proactively managing changes to baselined scope, schedule, and cost variables, communicating impacts and facilitating decisions.
Resolving issues that impact the project in a timely, effective manner. Ensuring maximum issue resolution in minimum time to meet Service Level Agreements.
Implementing policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.
Identifying, categorizing, and prioritizing risks and opportunities; planning, monitoring, and controlling risk responses; managing and reducing the impact of known issues.
Acting as primary escalator of project and associated project risks and issues to project stakeholders.
Effectively communicating relevant information to stakeholders and project delivery teams.
Coordinating site visits for project team members to perform onsite work such as site surveys and installations.
Managing and leading a team of IT technical support technicians.
Possessing a strong ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.
Working closely with the customer to determine and understand requirements.
Coordinating with senior management to ensure program compliance.
Providing technical assistance to computer system and network users or other technical products and services.
Establishing objectives and directing staff activities to improve technical support practices in the areas of quality, knowledge centered support and resolution timeframes.
Coordinating customer service activities with other internal functions.
Assisting users with computer hardware and/or software applications (e.g. website access, email setup, troubleshooting, etc.) for the purpose of providing immediate problem resolution.
Providing support for customer technical needs, to include troubleshooting and maintaining operation of all technical equipment (wireless, telephone, CCTV, end user devices, ISP/OSP, and other networking equipment).
Job Requirements Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in technical project management within federal or mission-critical environments.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or related field.
Program Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Public Trust (Active Secret clearance preferred).
Experience with facility-based IT infrastructure including cabling, wireless networking, and secure enclave deployment.
Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated success managing multiple subcontractors or technology partners in a project setting.
Able to translate complex IT requirements into executable plans.
Decisive and adaptive in time-constrained, mission-driven environments.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks: NIST RMF, FISMA, DHS 4300A.
Hands-on experience with network systems, call center platforms, EMR integration, or VTC systems.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage subcontractors.
Has demonstrated knowledge and work history in support of Computer systems.
Has demonstrated experience in technical support of networks/laptops/computers/printers/mobile phones.
Has knowledge of network communications, to include wireless, servers, Windows, MAC, Phone systems, Audio Visual equipment and operation.
Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills both written and oral.
Lead a team of IT service technicians with varying levels of experience.
Background or additional certifications in at least one of the following preferred but not required - knowledge of Aruba wireless - ISP/OSP Troubleshooting - CCTV System Troubleshooting - Network/Wireless Troubleshooting.
