This is a
hybrid role based in the Minneapolis area
for a salesperson who wants more than just maintaining accounts. You’ll take ownership of new business development and build long-term customer relationships across multiple industries.

engineers, product development teams, managers, and director-level decision-makers

You were responsible for
generating your own leads
Competition was real and prospects weren’t actively shopping
The role:
This is a
true hunting role . You’ll build your own pipeline, open new doors, and develop relationships with engineering and product teams across industries such as motorsports, agriculture, lawn & garden, and medical. You’ll manage the full sales process, from prospecting and qualification through proposal and close, while working closely with a technical team in a collaborative, consultative sales environment.
Success in this role comes from discipline, independence, and persistence. You’ll be trusted to build your territory over time and grow it into a meaningful book of business.
You must:
Have strong prospecting and hunting instincts
Be comfortable initiating conversations with engineers and technical teams
Work independently and stay disciplined with follow‑up and activity
Sell consultatively and understand how custom products are designed and manufactured
Collaborate effectively with engineering and technical resources
Be motivated to build something long‑term—not just chase quick wins
Compensation:
Base salary:
$70,000–$80,000
First‑year on‑target earnings:
$130,000+
Uncapped commissions
with clear upside potential
Motivated sellers are consistently aiming for
$130K+
annually
