Business Development Professional
is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities aligned with Siema's strategic growth, specifically within the industrial construction market. This role includes conducting market research, cultivating client relationships, and working closely with internal teams to secure new projects. A strong emphasis is placed on expanding Siema's presence in sectors such as refineries, chemical plants, ports, manufacturing, and infrastructure.

Position Description
Key Responsibilities:
Research and evaluate new business opportunities in industrial construction
Develop and execute strategic BD plans that support company goals
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
Build and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, and decision-makers
Represent Siema at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
Lead client engagement during pre-construction phases
Partner with internal teams to create proposals and lead presentations
Maintain detailed CRM records of leads and opportunities
Report regularly on business development activity and KPIs
Ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution
Position Requirements
Requirements for BD Professional
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
5+ years' experience in business development or project management within the heavy highway, civil, or industrial construction industries
Established network in the Gulf Coast industrial market (strongly preferred)
In-depth understanding of both public and private procurement processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and industry-specific tools
