
Project Manager, Engineering - Natural Gas Facilities

About the role

The Project Manager (Engineering) will support the Processing Controls Engineering group within the Gas organization, providing end-to-end project management for capital projects across the natural gas transmission and distribution system. You will oversee planning, executing, and closing multiple capital projects related to gas facilities and stations, while ensuring understanding of safety, regulatory, financial, and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Manage scope, schedule, and budget across multiple active projects
Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones
Coordinate contractors and internal cross-functional teams (CFTs) across engineering, construction, operations, finance, safety, and compliance
Facilitate CFT meetings and project status reviews
Manage financial forecasting, estimating, accruals, and cost tracking
Oversee engineering, construction execution, commissioning, and project closeout activities
Ensure change management and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle
Prepare project documentation, status reports, and executive summaries
Participate in site walks, project kickoffs, and constructability reviews
Qualifications
7+ years of experience
Background in gas facilities and station projects
Experience working for regulated utilities or LDCs
Compensation and Benefits
