Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead and oversee all quality-related functions within a high-precision manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the site’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure ongoing compliance
Drive quality initiatives to improve product performance, reduce defects, and increase customer satisfaction
Oversee inspection, testing, and quality assurance processes across manufacturing operations
Partner with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Lead root cause analysis efforts and drive long‑term solutions
Ensure compliance with aerospace and industry standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP
Manage internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits
Develop and mentor quality team members, building a strong quality culture
Monitor key quality metrics and report on performance to leadership
Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field required
Experience managing a Quality Management System (QMS) in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in machining, metalworking, or aerospace manufacturing
Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, or similar quality systems required
Leadership experience managing teams and driving performance
Strong problem‑solving skills and experience with root cause analysis
Certifications such as CQE, CQA, or Six Sigma are a plus
