About REGAL
The REGAL (Research to Eliminate GlobAL Cancer Disparities) is a multidisciplinary research team focused on eliminating cancer disparities through innovative, data-driven approaches spanning biological, social, and structural determinants of health. Our work integrates epidemiology, multi-omics, and community-engaged research across U.S. and global settings. We are a highly collaborative team of faculty, trainees, analysts, and partners committed to advancing health equity through rigorous science and real-world impact.

Role Overview
The Senior Program Coordinator is a central operational and strategic leader within the REGAL research program—an interdisciplinary, high-impact team advancing cancer health equity through rigorous, multi-level science. This role is designed for an individual who thrives in complex team science environments and is motivated to drive execution, solve problems, and build systems that enable scientific excellence. This position blends high-level strategic coordination with hands‑on operational execution. The successful candidate will operate as a force multiplier for the PI and program leadership—ensuring alignment across projects, accelerating productivity, and strengthening the infrastructure required to support a growing, multi-institutional research portfolio.

Program Infrastructure Support (30%)
The Senior Program Coordinator builds and maintains systems that support efficient, high-quality team science by ensuring that all program materials, documentation, and workflows are organized, standardized, and accessible. This includes developing and maintaining SOPs, ensuring accurate tracking of budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting across multiple funding sources, managing repositories for protocols and study materials, and ensuring that manuscripts, presentations, and reports are current and submission ready. The Coordinator will play a key role in grant development efforts with planning, documentation, and submission logistics, and will also play a key role in dissemination efforts and ensuring that external-facing materials such as manuscripts, reports, newsletters, website content, and presentations are timely and accurately reflect program progress and impact.

Team & Training Program Management (20%)
The Senior Program Coordinator supports the PI and team administrative operations, serving as a central point of coordination for trainees, new hires, and collaborators. This includes managing onboarding and offboarding processes, facilitating recruitment and hiring logistics, and ensuring that new team members are effectively integrated into program workflows. The Coordinator also contributes to the design and implementation of structured trainee and internship experiences, ensuring alignment with program goals while supporting professional development. In addition, this role maintains records of trainee activities and outcomes to support reporting and training grant requirements.

Leadership, Initiative & Growth (20%)
The Senior Program Coordinator is expected to operate with a high degree of independence and initiative by identifying challenges, proposing solutions, and driving implementation. This role contributes to broader program strategy by identifying opportunities for growth, improved efficiency, and expanded impact.
