Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for tenure track, regular title series, full‑time positions in the Markey Cancer Center and the Department of Behavioral Science. The ideal candidate will have a strong implementation science portfolio with NIH‑funded or promising research, a focus on community‑level factors that impact cancer vulnerability, and a commitment to mentoring.
The role includes accelerating dissemination and implementation of evidence‑based practices in real‑world settings to reduce cancer burden and health disparities. A startup package, premium contiguous space, and excellent benefits will be provided.

Lexington, KY
Qualifications
Ph.D. or equivalent in Behavioral Sciences, Public Health, Social Sciences, Communication, Health Services Research, Bioinformatics, Health Sciences, or other related fields.
Demonstrated research experience in implementation science with significant extramural grant support or strong promise of NIH funding.
Cancer‑related interests that span prevention, screening, treatment, survivorship, and end‑of‑life.
Training and experience in cancer care delivery, patient and community engagement, and/or health equity (highly desired).
Leadership, supervisory, and mentoring experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Oncology implementation science.
Grant and technical writing.
Supervision, leadership, and collaboration.
Teaching instruction and curriculum development.
