Role Summary
The Military Engines Sustainment Quality team is looking for a Supplier Quality Manager to lead our internal team and the supply base in developing and executing system, process and product audits, continual improvement initiatives, development and management of quality data, lead investigations, identify risks and develop mitigation plans, support suppliers and be instrumental in driving RCCA in the supply base.
Responsibilities
Lead a staff of quality assurance engineers and analysts performing oversight and audits of product and process activities.
Support and drive closure of supplier investigations to determine root cause and corrective actions while preventing future recurrence.
Ensure the team develops a high level of customer and supplier focus, business judgment and teamwork.
Communicate with various levels of management to identify Military Engines quality risks and mitigation plans.
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
2+ years of quality engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiar with the aftermarket and OEM military maintenance processes.
Analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
RTX CORE Champion certification or willingness to achieve certification within 12 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range for this role is $107,500 to $204,500. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, subject to performance and company factors.
This role is U.S.-based; if the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits apply.
