The Zone Specialist (ZS) assists customers and helps to maintain the store appearance. The ZS is responsible for all aspects of customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on their assigned store zone.
Primary responsibilities include merchandising in the assigned zone, assisting with training new Zone Specialists, being knowledgeable of promotions and advertisements, maintaining the assigned zone, assisting with pricing and merchandising, communicating customer needs to Team Leaders, maintaining store cleanliness, and completing additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications include a minimum of six months' retail experience, ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, effective communication, sound judgment, confidentiality, accuracy, attention to detail, organization, knowledge of industry terms, outstanding interpersonal and listening skills, and a positive attitude.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods, bend and twist frequently, grip, reach, and pinch with arms and hands frequently, squat, kneel, balance, and climb ladders occasionally, and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
