Unarmed Security Officer
Unarmed Security Officer needed in Greenville, OH
Role:
The Security Officer is accountable to ensure the safety and security of our client, their facilities, and their equipment within his/her area of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
The Security Officer is to ensure they are familiar with, and comply, with Genric and the client's policies and procedures.
Ensure possession of the necessary equipment to perform the role.
Ensure all Time Sheets are accurately completed and submitted as per Genric's policy.
Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely and legible manner:
Incident Reports
Statement forms
Ensure all Genric Log sheets are completed correctly and any issues resolved.
Conduct foot patrols of the facility perimeter, checking all fences, gates and doors for signs of forced and unauthorized entry.
Ensure all barriers (fences, doors, gates) are secured, as required.
Ensure all parking violations are reported to the Shift Supervisor.
Respond to and monitor all alarms as directed.
Ensure no unauthorized vehicles/pedestrians gain access to the client's property.
Ensure vigilance and maintain an awareness of personnel banned from the client's property.
Ensure all emergency procedures are followed and documented.
Assist, as directed by the Site Supervisor or client's associates, in the event of an emergency situation.
To suggest and implement any improvements in procedures.
To highlight equipment deficiencies or potential improvements.
To carry out other instructions as required.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
This position reports to Site Supervisor.

Finger Printing
