
Concrete Quality Assurance Technician

Your role at GEI
GEI is seeking a highly motivated individual to act as a Quality Assurance Technician to support a dam reconstruction project managed by a team in our St. Louis, MO Office. This project is full time in Hamilton, Illinois / Keokuk, Iowa for 2026 and 2027. This position will lead construction inspection teams, coordinate with multi‑disciplinary design teams, coordinate with third‑party testing agencies, coordinate third‑party contractors, support our design teams with constructability reviews, and support our office staff with the production and review of deliverables.
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma required, AS degree in Engineering Technology, BS in Construction Management, or related field highly preferred.
Previous experience in construction inspection and testing capacity with experience in soils, concrete, and bituminous paving.
Previously certified from ACI in soil or concrete testing.
Previous Resident Engineering Experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and valid driver’s license are required.
Must be willing to travel for both short and long‑term assignments.
