Business Development Manager

In a globally growing healthcare market, we are looking for a full time Business Development Manager to strengthen our Orthopedic team in the United States.
This is a high-impact, strategic role at the intersection of commercial leadership, technical solution development, and cross-functional collaboration. As a Business Development Manager, you will act as a trusted partner and solution architect for medtech companies, connecting their product ambitions with Elos Medtech's integrated development and manufacturing capabilities. You will drive new business acquisition while shaping complex CDMO opportunities, from early concept through industrialization and full-scale production. Working across multiple sites, you will orchestrate internal expertise to deliver tailored, end-to-end solutions that accelerate time-to-market and create long-term value for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with medical device OEMs, high-growth startups, and emerging medtech companies across North America.
Drive new account acquisition while building a strong pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with company growth priorities.
Develop and execute account strategies for key targets, with a focus on long-term partnerships and multi-project engagement.
Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify emerging opportunities and initiate informed go-to-market strategies.
Represent Elos Medtech at key industry events (e.g., MD&M, AAOS, AAHKS), strengthening market presence and network.
Own the full commercial process, including opportunity qualification, proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
Drive value-based selling approaches, aligning customer needs with scalable and competitive solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating technical and commercial requirements into tailored CDMO solutions.
Lead complex opportunity development by coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain.
Position Elos Medtech as a full lifecycle partner, from design and prototyping to validated, ready-to-use device solutions.
Collaborate with marketing to create compelling value propositions, case studies, and thought-leadership content that resonates with the medtech community.
Champion the voice of the customer internally to continuously improve service offerings and the overall customer experience.
Experience:

3+ years of experience in the medical device industry, with exposure to product development, manufacturing, and/or quality systems.
Proven track record in business development, sales, or key account management within a CDMO, CMO, or medtech environment.
Strong understanding of the medical device lifecycle, from concept and design transfer through manufacturing, packaging, sterilization, and regulatory pathways.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities and navigate technical and commercial discussions.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical experts and executive leadership.
Existing network within the U.S. medtech ecosystem (OEMs, startups, investors, incubators) is a strong advantage.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
MBA or advanced degree with a focus on healthcare, commercialization, or engineering is a plus
