Duties
Manage end-to-end procurement processes using Quickbooks to ensure timely purchase of goods and services
Develop sourcing strategies by analyzing market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing models to optimize costs
Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards
Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and inventory teams to forecast needs and coordinate supply chain activities
Monitor supplier performance through vendor management practices, ensuring compliance with contracts and service levels
Oversee inventory control and management to prevent stockouts or excess stock, utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools
Maintain accurate procurement records, manage purchase orders, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Job Costing reporting
Shipping & Receiving coordination and inventory alignment
Requirements
Experience in the millwork fabrication industry.
Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments
Expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and supply chain optimization
Familiarity with procurement best practices including pricing strategies, logistics coordination, and inventory control
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting supplier relationships
Ability to analyze data related to procurement activities using ERP systems and other tools
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
