
Technical Sourcer

What you'll do
As a Technical Sourcer, you will be a strategic talent partner responsible for identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of world‑class technical talent. You'll collaborate closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical leaders to deeply understand role requirements and develop proactive sourcing strategies that fuel both immediate hiring needs and long‑term growth.
You’ll leverage advanced sourcing techniques, data insights, and market mapping to uncover exceptional talent across engineering, data, program management and other emerging technical domains. This role requires creativity, persistence, and strong business acumen to engage passive candidates and position Corient as an employer of choice.
Where you'll work
This role will be based onsite in our Austin 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end sourcing strategies for technical roles across engineering, data, program management, cybersecurity and other specialized functions.
Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and talent mapping to inform hiring strategies and pipeline development.
Proactively identify and engage passive candidates through creative outreach across platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and other talent networks.
Build and nurture long‑term talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles, including future‑facing skill sets.
Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics to continuously optimize outreach effectiveness and pipeline health.
Maintain accurate candidate data and activity tracking within recruiting systems and dashboards.
Contribute to process improvements, sourcing best practices, and knowledge sharing within the recruiting team.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree
4+ years of experience sourcing for technical roles (e.g., Security, Infrastructure, Data, Program Management and End User Services) in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing techniques, Boolean search, talent mapping, and market research.
Proven ability to engage and convert passive candidates through thoughtful, personalized outreach.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with technical leaders.
Data‑driven mindset with experience using sourcing metrics to refine strategy and improve results.
Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches simultaneously while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Experience with Workday or a similar ATS
