
Technical Design Assistant

Position Overview
This role is responsible for producing accurate and high-quality drawings, renderings, and technical documentation to support our design team. You will work closely with one or multiple designers to translate concepts into clear, buildable plans.
This is a key support role that allows our designers to focus on client relationships, sales, and creative direction.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain:
Floor plans
Elevations
Furniture layouts
Installation drawings
Product 2D and 3D renderings for client presentations
Translate designer concepts into technical drawings and documentation
Visit job sites for accurate measurements
Revise drawings based on feedback
Ensure accuracy and consistency across all project documentation
Organize and maintain drawing files and templates
Assist designers in all phases of design, from conception development to project completion
Participate in site visits, installations, and styling to bring designs to life
Who You Are
Exceptionally organized and detail oriented
A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative
Skilled at managing multiple priorities and staying composed under pressure
Experienced (2+ years) in drafting or technical interior design and rendering
Proficiency in:
AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, and/or similar software
Strong understanding of interior design concepts, space planning, and construction documentation
Special Demands
As a full-service interior design firm, there are situations when we call all hands‑on deck to move furniture and physical strength is required. Candidates must be able to lift 50lbs and stand or walk for extended periods of time. Because our clients are widespread, overtime or travel may be required. Candidates must be able to perform in environments of varying temperature, noise conditions, and personalities. Must report to work timely, as directed by management.
