Communications and Media Intern — Summer Internship & Discipleship Program
May 26 – July 31, 2026 | Full-Time | Paid | Housing Provided
OneWay Ministries’ 10-week internship helps young adults grow deeply in Christ while using their creative gifts to tell powerful stories of God at work around the world. Interns live in community housing, receive intensive discipleship, and produce media that mobilizes prayer and fuels Great Commission engagement.
Role: Missional Journalism & Creative Writing Intern
Write, report, and creatively communicate stories that inspire prayer, activate believers, and highlight what God is doing locally and globally. Your work will be used across OneWay’s ministries, platforms, and partner networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Write articles ranging from research-based prayer pieces to field stories and ministry features
Report on OneWay ministries and partners through compelling, mission-centered writing
Collaborate with other media teams to create Kingdom-focused content (spoken word, video, photography, etc.)
Build and update websites and blogs for ministry initiatives
Assist with public relations and communications efforts, including email campaigns, social media content, research, scheduling, and marketing collateral
Qualifications:
Experience or strong ability in one or more of the following:
Writing, journalism, editing, interviewing, or reporting
Photography or creative storytelling
Adobe Creative Cloud
Website creation (HTML, Wix, WordPress)
Poetry or other creative writing forms
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
A growing relationship with Christ
Compensation:
$4,000 stipend
Housing, two weekly meals, retreat, and program costs fully covered (valued at ~$2,000)
