About the Role


The Company is in search of a Vice President, Business Development Officer with a focus on SBA and CRE lending. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and closing a variety of loans, including SBA 7(a), SBA 504, owner-occupied CRE, investor CRE, construction, and bridge loans. This role demands a self-sourced hunter with a proven track record in SBA and CRE lending, who can meet credit standards, and is adept at building and managing a robust pipeline. Key responsibilities include developing and growing referral networks, partnering with underwriting and closing teams, and representing the company at industry events. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SBA and CRE financing structures, the ability to interpret financials and identify risks, and a proactive, independent work style.

Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in SBA origination, CRE lending, or business banking, and a strong ability to cultivate relationships with various industry stakeholders. The position requires a high level of energy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM systems is essential, and experience with HubSpot is a plus.
