About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its philanthropic efforts in support of public education. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and relationship-driven leader with a strong fundraising mindset, dedicated to the academic and emotional well-being of students. Key responsibilities include executing the organization's strategic priorities, building and maintaining relationships with school and district leadership, and overseeing all aspects of fundraising and development. The Executive Director will also be responsible for community engagement, ensuring transparent communication, and managing the day-to-day operations of the organization.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' of nonprofit experience, with a minimum of 2 years' in fundraising, and a proven track record of volunteer board management and community collaboration. They should be adept at operational and organizational management, possess excellent communication skills, and be familiar with Google Workspace and donor CRM systems. The role requires a strategic yet practical approach, with a focus on long-term partnerships and a deep commitment to inclusivity and equity in education. The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors, faculty, staff, and the parent community to ensure the mission of the organization is effectively represented and that all students have access to the resources and opportunities they need to succeed.
