Human Resources Summer Intern

This position is with Rockford Public School District #205 in the Human Resources department. The intern will assist with summer season activities and special projects. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour and the position is non-exempt.

The duties include assisting with new hire onboarding, maintaining personnel files, supporting talent acquisition, and handling phone calls. The intern should have a high school diploma and preferably be enrolled in a Human Resources or Business Management program. They should demonstrate qualities aligned with the district's core values and have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

The working conditions involve moderate in-district travel and intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. The intern may work prolonged and irregular hours.
