Social Media Specialist
The

Social Media Specialist

is responsible for the execution, management, and optimization of social media across multiple brands under Riot Hospitality Group. This role goes beyond posting content and requires a strategic, detail-oriented individual who can manage high-volume platforms while driving engagement, brand consistency, and revenue.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Management

Review, organize, and edit photo/video assets from photographers and videographers

Create and schedule content across Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms

Write on-brand, engaging captions tailored to each concept and audience

Maintain a consistent visual and tonal identity across all brands

Platform & Account Management

Manage daily posting, story updates, and community engagement across multiple accounts

Monitor DMs, comments, and guest interactions, ensuring timely and professional responses

Coordinate with in-venue teams for real-time content opportunities and coverage

Link in Bio & Digital Touchpoints

Maintain and update link-in-bio platforms with accurate tracking links, events, and promotions

Ensure all events, holidays, and activations are properly reflected and updated across platforms

Manage integrations with tools such as Mr. Black or similar platforms for event accuracy

Paid Social Advertising (Meta)

Manage and execute Meta ad campaigns for both specific promotions and ongoing brand initiatives.

Assist in the setup, monitoring, and optimization of campaigns

A basic understanding of Meta Ads is preferred but not required.

Campaign Execution & Promotions

Support the rollout of marketing campaigns, including holidays, special events, and promotions

Assist in executing paid social campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team

Ensure all promotions are clearly communicated and aligned across social channels

Analytics & Optimization

Track content performance and platform analytics to inform future strategyIdentify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve engagement and reach

Provide regular reporting on growth, performance, and campaign success

Brand & Quality Control

Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and voice for each concept

Maintain organization of media libraries and content calendars

Collaborate with designers, photographers, and marketing leadership to elevate content quality

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with marketing leadership, operations, and venue teams

Support influencer collaborations, photoshoots, and on-site activations as needed

Assist in coordinating and capturing content across multiple locations and concepts

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proven experience and strong interest in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.

Proficient in platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom), Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar software.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask.

Creative mindset with an eye for aesthetics and trends.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Basic photography, design, or videography skills are a plus.

Passion for the hospitality and nightlife industry is highly desirable!
