Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:
The Product Engineering Technician will be responsible for design and development of orthopedic implant and instrument labeling per ISO 20417 and ASTM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Confers with cross-functional team to identify tasks and requirements (Product Development, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Marketing, Purchasing and Regulatory Affairs)
Develops detailed labeling templates, FAIs, and part numbers and releases through Design Change system.
Creates labeling for implants and instruments.
Updates labeling procedures and work instructions.
Attends cross-functional meetings.
Develops detailed packaging engineering drawings (3D CAD) and release through Design Change system.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
0-2 years of professional experience
Must be experienced in MS Word, Excel and Project.
Experience with labeling software. (LabelVision preferred)
Experience with 3D CAD packages. (SolidWorks preferred)

Previous experience in a regulated environment, Aerospace, Medical Technology, Pharmaceutical
Working knowledge and requirements of ISO 13485, ISO 11607 ASTM and ISTA Standards
