Our photographers work directly on the beach and in the water to document guests learning to surf, creating high-quality images available for purchase. Position Overview
We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about photography and love working in fast-paced, outdoor environments. As a member of our surf school photography team, you will be responsible for capturing guests learning to surf, managing photo sales, and maintaining strong relationships with surf instructors and customers. The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, and able to work independently while contributing to a supportive and energetic team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

Capture high-quality images of guests during their surf lessons, both from shore.
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to create a fun and memorable experience.
Edit and organize images efficiently for same-day sales.
Manage photo sales on-site, including handling payments and digital delivery.
Communicate effectively with surf instructors and fellow photographers to ensure smooth coordination and coverage.
Stay organized and on-schedule to ensure each lesson is captured and every guest is attended to.

You'll Stand Out If:

You have previous photography experience
You have sales experience
You're proficient in Lightroom
Work Environment

Outdoor, beach-based setting at a surf school
Time spent on land taking photographs
Exposure to sun, and sand - must be comfortable working in variable weather conditions
Compensation

$16/hour + Commission & Tips
