LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a

mission-driven Volunteer Marketing & Communications Specialist

to amplify our work supporting justice-impacted families and returning citizens.
You’ll help shape how the public, partners, and funders understand our impact — from campaigns and media outreach to digital storytelling and brand strategy.

communications with purpose , this role offers hands-on leadership experience

meaningful social impact.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute marketing & communications strategies
Create social media, email, and newsletter content
Draft press releases, media pitches, and campaign messaging
Support event promotion and community outreach efforts
Help maintain brand voice and storytelling consistency
Track engagement, media coverage, and growth metrics
Collaborate directly with leadership on visibility initiatives

You’re a Great Fit If You Have
Experience or interest in marketing, communications, PR, or journalism
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Comfort with social media and digital tools (Canva, email platforms, etc.)
Ability to translate complex issues into clear, compelling messages
Passion for social justice, equity, and community empowerment
5–10 hours/week availability (remote-friendly)
